Beckfield College
The Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management is designed to prepare individuals to apply managerial principles to the administration of health care facilities. Graduates acquire an understanding of the health services sector, particularly its political, social and economic dimensions. Upon completion of the Health Care Management program, graduates will be prepared to assume entry and mid-level positions in health care administration in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and other health care facilities. Students in their senior year of this program will be placed in an appropriate health care facility in order to apply the skills acquired in their collegiate coursework. They are required to complete 120 hours of practical experience under direct supervision of qualified personnel at various health care facilities and the general supervision of instructors.
